The Atelier

A quarter-century of bringing the European weaver's art to walls around the world.

Verdure & Vale began with a simple conviction: that the beauty of a woven tapestry — the depth, the warmth, the way it quiets a room — belongs in ordinary homes, not only museums and châteaux.

Since 1998 we have worked directly with the historic jacquard mills of Belgium and France, the same looms that have rendered fine art in thread for generations. Each design in our collection is chosen for one reason: it must be worth living with for a lifetime.

How every piece is made

We start from a high-resolution fine-art source and translate it, colour by colour, into a jacquard weave of cotton, viscose and polyester. Once off the loom, every tapestry is lined, fitted with a concealed rod pocket, and finished by hand so it hangs flat and true the moment it arrives.

For homes and for the trade

Alongside our retail collection, we supply interior designers, stagers and hospitality projects with custom sizing and volume pricing. From a single accent wall to a hotel lobby, the workroom is the same.

A note on this preview. This is a demonstration storefront built to show how a full Verdure & Vale online store looks and behaves. Product data and imagery are drawn from a live tapestry catalog; checkout is simulated and no orders are fulfilled.
